Imran is a 21 year old Singaporean (in 2001) singer/songwriter who mixes r&b/soul with traditional Asian elements to create his own brand of music. He was originally from the band called, Shouldn't, and now pursues a solo career in music.
1999 - Shouldn't was formed, first performance at Zuma Pub, then first hiphop gig Rhythm&Poetry 99.
2000 - Started recording demo.
2001 - Started performing fulltime Solo.
2002 - Recorded for Triple Noize & TTC from KL
Demo completed.
2003 - Embarked on Gig organizing too.
Yea, live instrumentation rocks, but hiphop gigs are cool too. It doesn't drain you out as much as performing with a live band.
I listen to R&B and jazz, traditional Indonesian, Malay and Indian, country and pop, and i like hiphop beats alot.
