Whittled Away Whittled Away
Hello...I am Joyce aka "Pitney" I found this venue through the Guitarnoise web site and i am excited to get some stuff posted so we can share more efficiently our music. I really cross many different styles in my writting. I try to take an eclectic stance to my music, too afraid i guess to be stuck in a place where everything sounds the same. I've been playing seriously for about 6 yrs now. I thank all my friends for helping me along the way to learn new techniques and for all the great advice.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live on stage and at open jams all over the country and love every moment of it. I am fortunate to have a wonderful husband, of nearly 18 yrs now, who happens to be an airline pilot. This provides me with fantastic travel capabilities that i take full advantage of. My husband supports my musical endevors completely and even watched our girl while im out on the road mixing it up with great musicians all over. My best moments as just being there with my online music family from Paltalk at the varoius live jams we have all over the US and Canada.

Leon Redbone, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton, Django Reinhardt, many of my freinds at paltalk too.What equipment do you use?
I play an Eppiphone EJ160e reproduction of the guitar made for John Lennon for the Hard Days Night movie...it has a single humbucker pickup and is a fantastic playing guitar.
For small venues i have a KPM4100 system. My buddy has the bigger sound stuff. I use a SurePG58A vocal mic , inexpensive but not a bad mic really. I also have two AKGD70ME acoustic mics to mic my guitar if i want.Anything else?
