Appearing at various venues, their musical background includes, but is not limited, to Jazz, Rock and Roll, and Country. GABE LA ROSA started performing in clubs as a drummer/vocalist while still in High School. He worked with a band he formed called "The Versatiles" Gabe originated from the Chicago, Milwaukee areas. He has performed at Sardino's Cocktail Lounge, The Knickerbocker Hotel, The Pfister Hotel, and the Hilton/Ramada Hotel chains in Milwaukee. He also appeared at Mr. Kelly's, on Rush Street, Tony's Cellar, The Blue Angel, the Palmer House and many other Chicago venues. Gabe wrote the song "A Tribute to Mr. Sinatra" in c1987 in honor of Frank Sinatra. He has produced a stage production around the song entitling the show "A Tribute to Mr. Sinatra, the songs of Patsy Cline and others". The show presents the many hits of Frank Sinatra from the 1940's to the 1980's. He and Angie La Duke present the show with a 9 piece big band. ANGIE LA DUKE Angie is also from the Chicago area. She has performed mainly in the Southern California venues. She has appeared at yacht clubs, festivals, fairs, and lounges. Angie is well versed in all types of music. That is why Gabe La Rosa brought her into "The Versatiles" about 3 years ago. Gabe really liked her CD of 13 original songs that she released in c1999. Her wide vocal range and flexibility enable Angie to sound like the artist she protrays. When Gabe decided to produce the show "A Tribute to Mr. Sinatra, the songs of Patsy Cline and Others" Angie became the portion of the show that introduced female artists from the 40's to the 80's that were popular when Sinatra "hits" were prevelant.
