“The Heart of a Solider”, is a concept album that relates the thoughts, theories and struggles of the artist, as a result of his experiences in life. Swordz embodies the voice of the streets telling with raw uncut conviction the situations that surround and impact an undying culture. With a hard hitting single like “Lay ‘em Down” (featuring Life) and an overall combination of forceful lyrics, dope production and a untouchable level of energy this album will become a staple for others to follow. “Lay ‘em Down” is currently getting spins on specialty shows all over the country. Over 9,000 copies of the single have been distributed across the U.S. creating a much-warranted buzz for the album.
While watching Swordz and One Blood perform on stage, it becomes evident that they are here to mark their territory within the hip-hop culture.
