I love to play piano and compose music! I listen mostly jazz/pop fusion with a bit of movie music thrown in - Sting, Spyro Gyra, Snarky Puppy, Dave Grusin, Herbie Hancock, Hiromi, Mark Isham. I hope my music reflects a bit of those amazing musicians.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?

I perform with a local jazz group called "Good Karma." (goodkarmajazz.com). I have played piano at restaurants and events, and a few years ago at Nordstroms. Many of my gigs these days are with the middle school jazz combos I lead at Miller Creek Middle School, where I am a science teacher.

What equipment do you use?

I use Logic software. My keyboard is a Yamaha PF 100 keyboard, and I occasionally use a Roland JV-1010 synth module. My final mixes and some of the recording was done separately on Pro Tools.
