Been streamin' ya. Scottish Lullabye is a big work. The pebble is moving along the ripples of time as I listen in and feel somehow part of the glistening sun.
I am reminded of the Taoist teaching of Lao Tzu
who wrote;
The five colours blind the eye.
The five tones deafen the ear.
The five flavours dull the taste.
Racing and hunting madden the mind.
Precious things lead one astray.
Therefore the sage is guided by what he feels and not by what he sees.
He lets go of that and chooses this.
I hope you’ll stop by & listen well.

You are an exceptional guitarist.. It is a pity you are not closer to Colorado, or I to Calif. I would very much enjoy an opportunity to collaborate.
Excellent work; keep playing.

Andrew,
Presently listening to "Scottish Lullaby". Would be willing to make a CD swap with you if you have one you'd be willing to send. Otherwise, great work anyway, man. Very clean and melodic. I love the percussive technique, and you employ it very well... I have a couple of tunes myself (presently unrecorded) that fit Michael Hedges' term "Violent Acoustic" better than any other category. Other stuff I play is more on the order of what you're doing, I'd say--but I doubt that my recordings are quite as good (never mastered, and most were done in one or two takes).
Drop me a line if you're interested in a swap, or just to holler back.
Regards,
Uncle John Sawbriar
