The Last Infantry was formed in February of 2004 when Louie asked Matt if he wanted to start a metal band... The coincidence of it is that Matt was going to ask Louie to start a band at the same time but Louie just said it first... That same day we jammed out with Steven, the bassist from Louie's old band Diztortion... After three practices with Steven, things weren't working out so we started searching for a new bassist... On April 22nd, 2004, we asked Tony to join the band... We were now a metal band called Destination Chaos... We started to jam out songs and write our own... But we still needed another guitarist and a vocalist... We went through multiple guitarists without any luck... Then we found out that our friend Austin played guitar and was pretty good so we we asked him to join and there we were a band but still without a vocalist... Then we were notified by Matt's guitar instructor that the name Destination Chaos was taken a pop-punk band so we were in search of a new name... After millions of possible band names, we settled in with The Last Infantry... Finally, after months of searching, our vocalist, Jake, was found and Last Infantry was locked n' loaded...
We are a local heavy metal band in Bloomingdale, Illinois consisting of five people: a vocalist, two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer...
We have our own style of metal that is closest to a mix of Metallica, Testament, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Pantera, and many others...
We play for the love of music and not for the fame, therefore, we continue to rise above all in our path... It's everything or nothing...
