The band was formed in the end of 1998 by Witchburner(vocals), Warlock(guitar) and Lesch (drums). By the end of 1999, the first Burning Times demo was recorded. In 2002 the band stopped existing, until the summer of 2004. Right now Burning Times is the solo-project of Warlock, the first guitarist/songwriter of the band.

You have some very good music here. Over the last year or so I have become very interested in Slavic Folk music, both purely as Folk music, as well as when it is incorporated into Black Metal. You have managed to achieve the latter very well. Your music reminds me quite a lot of Gontyna Kry.
You clearly have an ear for Folk melodies, but the timing of the notes in the melodies of Folk music is equally, if not more important than the notes themselves, and you are able to create a very natural sounding tune by having thought about the timing.
I would have to say that the organic nature of Folk music requires equally organic drums and percussion, and the drum machine sounds you use (the volumes and the sounds themselves), as well as the programming detract a bit from the great guitar riffs. I imagine that the tracks would sound more "folky" if the drums were further back in the mix, and if the drums were hit less frequently.
