Leptis Magna is a project that aims to create paranoia induced soundscapes via seemingly simple structures that act to immerse and unease.
There is a feeling of impending doom within our soundscapes that occasionally manifests and often acts to hide the real danger.Band/artist history
I am noise obsessed and I just wanted to portray certain feelings via sound-scapes. The noises I use are mostly organic and are created myself using whatever I think will produce the sound I want. I guess you could say that Leptis Magna is a side-project to other musical things that I do.
The concept of Leptis Magna has existed for a few years but it is only recently I've explored it.Have you performed in front of an audience?No.

I love noise. Merzbow is great and I have a soft spot for Whitehouse. Metal music is probably the one I am most attracted to.What equipment do you use?
I record organic sounds via dat recorder or even dictaphone. The difference in quality can be effective.Anything else?
