between trip hop and power pop

I'm a french musician. Also guitarist and singer in the pop-rock band called Crème Brûlée, I've been working since 1998 on solo pieces in my home studio. The result is some trip hop-pop or more experimental songs with french lyrics on which I played all real and virtual instruments. This is the second avatar of the "In Cauda Venenum" productions (others are Psychonada, Crème Brûlée, and Stéphane Prince).
Band/artist history
I learned piano when I was a child, but I was dreaming to play jazz while I was playing Mozart and Bach. When I was 15, I played drums and sung in a punk band. At the beginning of the 90's, I was playing blues and boogie on piano in a bar, then a friend asked me to play with him in a Rythm and blues band. Piano was boring me, so I started to play harmonica. But actually I wanted to play guitar in a grunge band and make much more noise. I did with Crème Brûlée. Since 1998 I make music with computers. I'm not a human being anymore. I became a robot.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to play live with Crème Brûlée until year 2000. I'd like to do it again if I had time to find a bassist and a drummer. The idea is in progress.

Merci beaucoup! I don't know if Makopa will be able to play live in France, that's pretty ambitious! but we're vying for a slot in "Fete de la Musique" sponsored by Alliance Francaise de Manille =) The Fete is a yearly music event here in Manila
Just stumbled upon your page. I'm hooked! C'est magnifique! I'm downloading all your songs like crazy! I'm Filipina, who's learning French so I'm looking for songs with French lyrics to listen to. (Je suis philippine. J'ecoute la musique francais parce que j'apprend la langue francais.-is my grammar correct?) I also have a band here at Soundclick, Makopa. If you have time please do listen to our songs. Au revoir!
