Guided By Angel's Hands Guided By Angel's Hands
In this political, spiritual journey, one's self and ability is in doubt... and after considering why and how, the answer is simple; maybe we are all guided by angel's hands...

The Friendly Face of Fire The Friendly Face of Fire
"Moving parts dominate this song. At any given time, lead guitar, rythym guitar, or bass, has the melody. The lyris are harsh and to the point."
A Perfect Opportunity was formed from Feedback, a three-man band including Grant, Josh and Randy. The music was fair, but due to their inexperience and limitations of 3 people, it ended up being mostly dull. They decided they needed 2 guitars to fill the gap, so they found a bass player in order to allow Grant and Josh to both play guitar. Holden joined the group, and it was discussed that a new, positive name was needed. They came up with A Perfect Opportunity, and not long after, the first song was written. It was called "Under Pressure," and its chilling lyrics have captivated many. After a year and the firepower of a 3-track EP, A Perfect Opportunity hopes to earn the approval of the record industry and spread their music.
Band/artist history
Up until about a year ago, my vocal skills weren't that great. I've been singing for about 3 years, and took two just to make any progress. Listening to bands such as Nirvana and Thrice, I slowly developed my own singing style and am now happy with the way I sound. I learned to scream from The Used and implement that into our songs.
Josh has been playing guitar for about 8 years now, and it shows in our style. A big metal guitar fan, Josh listens to Shadow's Fall, Helstar, Pantera and any other band with amazing guitar riffs. If you listen to our songs, Josh's guitar parts are some of the most technical additions in the mix.
Holden has only been playing bass since he joined... and I think that should be noted. He is greatly dedicated and like the rest of us, enjoys the feeling of just being on stage.
Randy is a great drummer, full of life and energy. His sense of humor always keeps us entertained, and being the oldest, Randy always knows what we don't.
A Perfect Opportunity appreciates anyone who gives our music a chance.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we love to play live as much as we can! We've played at several clubs in Houston, including The Engine Room, Fitzgerald's, and Cardi's 2000. The more pressure and people, the better we play!
Your musical influences
Between the four of us, we have all kinds of influences. Here we go: Thrice, Thursday, Shadow's Fall, Brand New, AFI, Metallica, Pantera, The Offspring, Green Day, Helstar, Children of Bodom, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Iron Maiden, Chris Knapp of the Ataris, Dave Grohl (needs no introduction), Riley Brackenridge of Thrice, Cyrus of NFG, Travis Barker (no intro), Neil Pert, Dimebag Darrell, Nirvana, Alice in Chains... we could go on forever lol!
What equipment do you use?
Ibanez, Crate, Randell, Pearl, Mapex, Dean, and Boss pedals.
Anything else?

Man that is so creepy! we are right next to eachother on the charts! Did you do this?
how weird!
I sincerely apologize with all of my regrets, I was just caught up in the moment of listening to all the other bands on soundclick that just have no original sound, you know? I hope that I didn't stir up any disputes and you can delete my message if you want. I just was in a bad mood. I really actually like most of your song and agree with the voicebox(Evan Vasa) that you guys have talent in your area of music. I think you guys should maybe add more screaming throughout your songs though, because who ever does those screams has a sound like the singer from God Forbid and if your EP has more screaming in it I'd happily buy it from you.
Sorry about my outburst, I wasn't in the right mood.
Thanks - Samuel Daline
Hey man,
I am the singer (if you can call me that) from Kan Gor Hatecrime. I apologize for our bassists comments... You guys are cool... though that isn't my style of music... You are good for the style you play (though I know nothing about it). Our genres of music run in a different direction than each other, so, I am glad you weren't as rude on our message board as "repressedrage" was on yours... When it is obvious that our styles differ greatly from one another. Thanks, man
