We Were Drunk We Were Drunk
We were drunk, but this follows the theme of the EP, drunkenness removes barriers, and the question is asked, what do we mean to each other?
Left Left
random sounding layered lyrics with layered bass, steel string and spanish guitar.
Lose My Head Again Lose My Head Again
ah, if i had singles, this would probably be a b-side. It's short, simple, and acoustic. And the bass isn't in tune.
Which? Which?
a should i stay or should i go scenario, viewed from an outside perspective. a decision is being demanded.
Well firstly, the band name is written "Black #8". But websites don't like the character "#". It's not really a band, more of a solo recording venture. Just me, Jim, with a host of stringed instruments, recording in my bedroom. With a computer mic. The results are far better than i thought they could be though.Band/artist history
Started officially, after 2 years of thinking about it, and ages of writing lyrics which have been either used or discarded throughout the making of the first ep.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live, but not with Black #8. I play with a band called "The Semantics" at infrequent intervals. So far just a cover band, but its good fun, and it's nice to get a good crowd reaction, since they already know most of the songs.
Your musical influences
Well I love faith no more, nine inch nails, foo fighters, to name the bare minimum. I don't know is my work like them at all, but i've been told one is kinda like NIN, and i feel a lot of my work has a foos-ish feel. I am very influenced by dave grohl, he's my favourite professional musician..so yeah, grohl mostly.Anything else?
