"The truth I want is you" is a lovely song with quite a haunting little melody.

Thank you for your messages on BOTH my board and Svenni's about my little Christmas ditty "Christmas Mistress." Very nice of you to listen and comment on each of our boards.
I am listening to "The Truth I Want Is You" and I just LOVE it. This is great. The simplicity of the musical arrangement, the ache in the vocal delivery, great song title, great melody... this could EASILY be in a movie soundtrack. Wow... have you pursued that with it? You REALLY should. This is JUST the sort of thing that gets placement in films like "Garden State" (great film if you haven't seen it - you can now rent it).
I would love to hear more of you. When you post other things, please come by and tell me, O.K.?

Thanks for the visit. A guy on Gnet said Leonard Cohen, too. I had no idea who Leonard Cohen is. I thought he wrote musicals for Mickey Rooney back in the 40's. Problem is: I have a stack of tunes, finished backing tracks, without vocals, that weren't right for the band I'm in.

and thanks ALOT for you kind words on my production of Lynn's song "Christmas Mistress" It was a great challange for me to arrange, play and mix the song since Lynn has a high standard quality on her songs, I think it worked out well in my little home recording studio:-)

The song "The Truth I Want Is You" is so good! Since the first time i heard it, it has been stuck in my head. That's a very good sign. If the rest of your songs are this pro, they should be knockin' down your doors any time!
