Hip Hop General

Straight Up Raw Hip Hop from the Lowlands. Representin' NB to the fullest... Started rappin' around 1983 and still going strong.
Band/artist history
Eversince I first heard the Sugarhill Gang's Rappers Delight I knew this was going to be my music. From then on I was totally into Hip Hop. I wrote graffiti, did some breakin' and started MC'in around 1983. In 1991 I recorded a CD called "Remove The Chains" with my posse called Divorze. It was published by a dutch Reggae label called RUNN Records. The production (by ourselves) was absolute crap, but we made so many mistakes that we learned heaps of it.... Did many support acts in the Netherlands for groups like RUN DMC (JMJ R.I.P.), De La Soul and Paris... I did some features on the debut album of Family Jewels in 1995 but since then I have kept it much on the D.L. Didn't sit still however and hope to come out with some decent sh*t is the near future
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I'ts been a long time since I stepped on stage (apart from a few freestyles and features), but the itch remains...
Your musical influences
I'm definately into the Hardcore feel of rap. Raw beats and real lyrics. The main rapper that inspired me to start rappin' myself was Melle Mel. Nowadays I don't have any real favorites as long as it's raw and it's real... (non of that gangsta sh*t for me!)
What equipment do you use?
Emagic Logic Audio Platinum... that's really all you need nowadays
Anything else?
Well, a decent Mic doesn't hurt either....
