Band/artist history
4 score and 7 years ago, guitarist/vocalist Jason Vetos found himself becoming disillusioned with the rock scene. Tired of listening to dark, brooding, whiney musicians who seemed to hate everything (ESPECIALLY BEING IN A BAND) Jason set out on a quest to put the F-U-N back in Rock-N-Roll. After a brief stint as a one-man-band (he just couldn't get the 'cymbals between the knees' thing down) he realized he needed to recruit a rhythm section. Sporting his red-white-n-blue Uncle Sam suit, he searched the area high and low until stumbling upon bassist Dan Wozney and drummer Jeff Deignan. Jason pointed his finger and let out a resounding, "I WANT YOU!!" They meekly followed, obviously unaware the draft hadn't existed since the mid-70's. Jason stated, "They have a groove a mile wide, and you'll never catch THESE guys clapping on 1 and 3."The band locked themselves away in Jason's basement studio with a $42.00 budget and six mismatched mics. Out of these sessions came a batch of brilliantly written songs that stick in your head and leave you wondering what tune it is you've been humming all day. The Odd Squadd is now in the studio completing their debut CD which will be released at the end of this summer. They will definitely make you smile, laugh, or check yourself into a program for cranial extraction of fun, melodic, hooks. Listen to the tunes and judge for yourself. And by all means check out their live show. This is a band you don't want to miss!!! Group members: Jason Vetos-Guitars, Acoustic Guitars, Keyboards, Lead and Backing Vocals; Jeff Deignan-Drums, Percussion; Dan Wozney-Bass and Vocals
