A Trip to the Beyond A Trip to the Beyond
Psychedlic composition. My first song but one of my best. Very mellow and relaxed. Solo sucks balls but I did this after playing guitar for like 5 months. 4:37
House of the Rising Sun House of the Rising Sun
Classic folk song originally done by Bob Dylan but made famous by The Animals.
Blues (Untitled) Blues (Untitled)
Definately has a more "bandlike" feel to it. As usual, incomplete.
Interpretations Interpretations
Another one of those "I'm sad so lets write a good song" songs. Only drums, one rythym track, and a few fills done so far (6:00)

is the solo works of the one (Aka Billy) that tribute the instrumentals of Pink Floyd; Lyrics are usually simple background talking or non-existant. Most songs simply consist of a lead and rythm guitar. Bass sometime accompanies the music.Band/artist history
Not much history behind my works. Basically I got my Ibanez telecast for my 16th birthday (November 2003). I started learning guitar entirely on my own through the works of Pink Floyd (I started with, and continue to practise to this day with Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Comfortably Numb).
When I got a headset microphone in spring 2004. Although its original purpose was just to talk with friends online.
In April, I started smoking da ganja. The first time I really tripped, I thought of making a bunch of songs designed to trip you out (Yeah, I realise this sounds horribly stupid... bar with this stupidity for a minute). A Trip to the Beyond. I recorded my first song, A Trip to the Beyond in a day or 2. I started to record things by placing the mic against my mini-amp and recording using Cool Edit Pro 2 (Which is still my prefered software). Just recently I got the jacks to plug my Legend amp into my computer to make a more clean input sound. Basic stuff, but worthwhile to my lack of income. Nowadays I skip the amp and plug guitar to effects, and effects to computer. My new and better soundcard makes the sound as good as recording into a multitrack. Yay, save $400Have you performed in front of an audience?Lack of additional members prevents live performances
Your musical influences
Pink Floyd, more specifically David Gilmour. What equipment do you use?
Ibanez Gio Telecaster (Same kind used by Joe Walsh), Boss Legend Super Lead 50 amp.
Occationally I bring in effects pedals, mostly Ibanez pedals: Tube Screamer, Chorus, Flanger, Wah Pedal, Equalizer, Digital Delay.Anything else?
Try listening to my music when you are stoned. It really does make a huge differenceContact

good stuff
Well, I finally got a compressor. Unfortunately, I've lost Cool Edit to record the songs and now run Linux. So I have to find a similar program to record and I'll see what new sh***astic stuff I can make.
Hi. Listening to your tunes. Spacey stuff! Maybe trippy is a better word. Very interesting, reminds me of Pink AND Floyd! The only bit of advice I have is to put some kind of compressor between your guitar and computer (or between the amp and computer). That will control the peaks a bit and prevent some of the minor digital distortion I'm hearing. An MXR Dynacomp would work (even Gilmour used one of those :). Other than that keep doing what your doing! Sounds good. And thanks for adding "Reasons" to your station.
