I go by many names Ghost Majik, Pred X, Tasha Salad, Fester, DJ Groove Whore, Carved In Stone, Blackie, and yet my Grandma still calls me Corey. WTF's up with that.Band/artist history
Yeah my name is Corey Wilson I grew up in shit hole Pekin, Il. I am 29 years old. I got my first guitar for my 15th birthday now almost 14 years later I am doing more than I ever thought I would when I first started out. I am involved in many different projects most of which have been ongoing since 2003. I helped form predicate in December of 2002 out of the ashes of my former band Fleshboogie with Brian Goodlick. Predicate has had some rocky roads but our band mantra has always been "Rebirth Is Imminent" and no matter what band members come and go we will always evolve and make the next step forward and so far it has proved correct. I also wrote some rap beats and riffs for a rapper named L-Train under the name Ghost Majik. Someday I would like to write some more rap music. I started my Carved In Stone project in 2003 when I started playing bass for predicate (oh yeah I started out as the rhythm guitarist and switched over when our original bassist quit). It was basically stuff that was too weird or experimental for predicate. I like to use lots of effects on my Carved In Stone project. I also started a Misfits Tribute group called Feind Club Local #138 it is Misfits tunes done with just an acoustic and vocals. I am also working on a top secret project right now that just started this summer but has been in the making since my days in Macomb... and I will leave it at that.Have you performed in front of an audience?Predicate does. the others are recording only.
