DREW and Dirt Drop new single "Choppin W/Kay Slay" the first single from their forthcoming album "Changin' tha game" Drew Fire and Dirty Red are undeniable with quality music and an album that’s “CHANGIN' THA GAME" The bi-regional group delivers the funk with a touch of both jazz, and soul. Along with their unique styles and versatility, one can hear the influences of years past throughout the music.
Band/artist history
After working together on songs for the “This Thing Of Ours” Compilation and spending time on tour as part of the 2003 Bone Thugs/Seagram’s tour, the two began hearing demand for a project together. “We were all working hard out here trying to get heard, trying to get a deal. We sat down and talked about all the criticism that we received from A&R and worked together to produce an album that was respectable in the street but commercially viable”,says Redhanded producer the Great Dane. “Undeniable describes how we feel about this project”,says Dirty Red “it describes the work we put into the album and our love for the music and the industry. We feel we can bring change to the game with good music. We want to raise the bar of what’s acceptable to people. Music is my life that’s what’s tattooed on my chest and that’s what I live by on a daily basis. We’ve set out to change the game back to its original form of real music and real artist. You can see a couple of artist really making that push but overall there are too many people out here trying to get rich quick. There too many people out here with little or no talent clogging up the system. Everybody thinks they can get rich rhyming like it’s the lottery, but they lack the artistry and care this really takes. We’ve been waiting in the wings for yearsbuilding our own studiobuilding our names and reputationsthis hasn't happen for us overnight and we’ve stayed committed through all the trials and tribulations.” Drew Fire adds “ Changin’ tha Game embodies everything that’s us. We have a different style; we have a different sound because we’re two different types of people with the same goal of creating good music first. Dirt’s from Cleveland and he’s got that laid back mentality while I’m a southern boy from Alabama all about getting’ it krunk. We’re not new to the game. We’ve produced many songs over the years so we’ve been around and have seen how albums just get thrown together. We’re out to change the game and raise the bar.”
