2 guitars with piano accompanyment. Feel-good, heartfelt, almost emo

Sympathy Sympathy
pretty acoustic song (with 2 acoustics). Emotional, for letting it all out. This is the version without piano.

Being the big Reject (rough demo) Being the big Reject (rough demo)
upbeat pop-punk-ish song from the perspective of a loser who seems to be alienated by his friends, by my side project RLA

Since the Day That I Met Her Since the Day That I Met Her
about Having a girlfriend leave you. Has 2 guitars for the intro. from the heart, more than 75% improv. kinda happy, agitated at times, but mostly neutral mood I guess

Let It Loose Let It Loose
A fairly raw song; About letting loose from your fears and worries. (3 min 1 sec)

For those who don't know me, this is where I share some of my acoustic songs and other projects. Most of my songs on here are based off improv-isation, but they're all heartfelt, as I like to say. And feel free to leave a comment, but don't drink Comet.
Band/artist history
I made music as Flaming Head from 2001 - 2006. Creating music was what got me into playing guitar, so going by the alias of Flaming Head protected me & let me be as odd as I wanted.
I made CDs and tried to sell them to my friends and looking back, I can't believe people bought them. I unofficially released 3 so-called albums (the first 2 had really bad recording quality too), but you probably won't hear any (songs) off those because for the most part those songs suck.
Basically, when I first got motivated to play guitar, I made joke/parody songs. I think that was why my friends even paid attention to it, because it made them laugh.
Anyways- Over time I progessed in skill, until they started sounding more like songs. I decided to put some of my better songs on here. Most.. well, all of these songs were recorded after my 3rd "album".
Your musical influences
mxpx, Good Charlotte, Elvis Costello, The Starting Line.
I like more of the punk-pop style, so that may transfer over in someway. However I don't think I sound like any popular music artists that I've heard. But in these songs I've posted, I seem to be into making emotional, sad acoustic songs that are about problems in relationships. Girls were an influence, yeah.
Anything else?
Yeah, I don't know why anybody would listen to me, but thank you for stopping by!

thanks for stopping by...as it states in my interview, the work on my page are all "snacks". they're mini versions of the full length song: long enough so you get the idea, but short enough to leave you wanting more...
Would love to see you on my MySpace sometime...(oasisDuke)
Cheers!

Thanks for pointing out the obvious..."Gin & Tonic" is a definite tip of the hat to Nirvana. No wet blanket there. Actually, it's an honor to have my little garage band demo compared to a classic grunge song. However, the main chord progression for "Teen Spirit" is F-Bb-G#-C#..."Gin & Tonic" is Am-F-C-G. Try both on your acoustic, and you'll see that those are two entirely different chord progressions.
Peace & best of luck...
