The Natural - Real Hip-Hop straight from the guts!
Band/artist history
Although in NJ for most of his life, The Natural spent five years of his young life down south. Fascinated with hip-hop music at a very early age, he found himself spending every dollar he could come up with buying cassettes and records of the artists he would stay up late listening for on underground radio stations: Slick Rick , Run DMC , Eric B and Rakim , and Public Enemy were just a few of the artists. The tapes and records he would buy included instrumental versions of several songs. The Natural would freestyle to any beat he could get his hands on, replacing his favorite MC’s lyrics with his own. Rhymes were a way for the high-strung white kid to let it all out. Soon after, The Natural moved to Maryland where he started to really get serious about rhyming. In school he hooked up with DJ Trouble Money. Through The Natural's hallway freestyle sessions, he earned respect as a serious MC. He began recording with other MC’s at DJ Trouble Money's house on the “west side.“ It was two turntables and a microphone in every aspect. In school, at home, anywhere he went, he had his pen and paper. The Natural moved back to NJ where he was born. By now hip-hop was growing at an extremely rapid pace. Groups like Tribe Called Quest, Cypress Hill, and Poor Righteous Teachers were in his walkman as he walked the school halls. He continued to be known for his ill rhymes and amazing lyrical skills. Radio began playing hip-hop non-stop. The Natural would rap at clubs and on radio freestyle battle shows whenever he could get a chance. With no money for real studio time he did not take his music career seriously. A few years have gone by and now, the generation of computers and music. The Natural is as passionate as ever about his music and represents real hip-hop.Everything he creates from nasty ass rhymes to bangin ass beats are all his originals.Everyone showcasing his skills and passion for real Hip Hop Music. In his own words “Over fifteen years I been perfecting this." Now is his time.
