Beats General

Open Source is the name I use for music I make that is fully based on improvisation. I am a guitar teacher in the Netherlands for 18 years now.... My influences: Steve Hackett, Andy Latimer, Robert Fripp, Steve Howe, but also Herbie Hancock. My all time hero (musically speaking) is Todd Rundgren.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, mostly with guitar students. I like to play all kinds of songs with them but my personal choice would be progressive rock. Some of the pieces we did were Discipline and Red (King crimson), Afterglow (Genesis), Shine on you crazy diamond (Pink Floyd), Mood for a day (Steve Howe), Blood on the rooftops and Horizons (Steve Hackett), Kayleigh/Lavender (Marillion).

Anything else?
I have a beautiful Son! And an old cocker spaniel....
