we've been around since the summer of 2000. started off as me and josh playing some songs in my living room... people made fun of us cause we would write these long, slow, beautiful gay songs. so... the makeout melody was given birth. the songs i have up now are from the debute ep... recorded last september at a friends house. the debute ep is more or less a "solo" afair, cause joshua was living in tyler, tx at the time... and i just had to get these songs recorded. i had no idea what i wanted to do... just that i had to do "my own" thing. so, the makeout melody is me and joshua... or just me. sometimes it will be acoustic. sometimes electric. at all times it will break your heart. of course, now joshua is back in town, so... we'll get back to writing as a team. i'm sure a new batch of songs will come along and their way to your stereo... and your hearts... very soon. anyway, packaging for the debute ep is still in limbo, but if you want me to i'll send you a press copy. shoot me an e-mail or give me a call. i realy am proud of these tunes. and i want everyone to have that chance to suck-face to 'em. i'm also not very good at writing bio's. sorry. we'll keep you all posted on what goes on in the life of this band. and an official web-site will be posted soon. hugs and kisses to all, -justin/joshua aka, the makeout melodyHave you performed in front of an audience?yes. we play. it might just be me, it might be the two of us... or we might have a whole band. you never know.
