I have been working as a recording engineer in SLC for the last 4 years of my life. On the down time I have been able to record my own stuff. I have orchestrated all of my own music, and used real string players from the Utah symphony to perform with me on my debut solo album Falling Stars. Have you performed in front of an audience?
I don't play out a lot because the scene in SLC isn't all that great. I have been recording this album for such a long time, and once it is released I will have more of a reason to play out.
Your musical influences
I love radiohead, the pixies, sonic youth, Smashing pumpkins even though you won't hear much of their influences in my music. They are my Idols.
What equipment do you use?
I have been using Pro Tools (Digi 001) to record a lot of the album. The mixing was done on an HD, Mix, and LE system.
