Rust Record recording artist Cherry Monroe is gearing up for the release of their self titled debut album, available in stores October 19th, 2004. At the same time the group has caught the attention of veteran radio promoters Adam Lewis and Chris Davies of Boston based Planetary Group. Cherry Monroe will be hitting college radio airwaves around the country starting the week of September 27th.
In addition Cherry Monroe has just completed filming Cleveland's Emmy Award winning show Words and Music at Cuyahoga Community College, which will air in the greater Cleveland/Parma area starting in October.
During the month of October look for live performances by Cherry Monroe at the Pittsburgh Hard Rock Cafe with Epic recording artist Flickerstick on October 14th. Followed by their Clevleand CD release party on October 15th at the Agora Ballroom with Colombia recording artist Lovedrug. Cherry Monroe's Pittsburgh CD release party is slated for October 23rd at Mr. Small's Theater.
