Band/artist history
The iLL CONVOY was formed in 1998 by a group of college friends, a bag of goodies, and a Tribe Called Quest album. Their sole purpose was to bring back the feel good, old school jams of yesterday while adding their own new twist. Over the course of seveal years and many different incarnations of the group, the iLL CONVOY brought the positive Hip Hop back to many different college towns in the Midwest. The iC was best known for their high energy live shows, but the one pro studio album they cut, "Change the Game," solidified their place in underground Hip Hop. After taking a few years off, the iLL CONVOY has hit the scene once again with several performances and a new EP released in early 2011.
