peace to everybody that stumbled across this site...we are the Last Disciples Standing in this confusion of hip hop and chaos...we hope you find joy in our message, inspiration in our beats and we hope that hip hop will live forever in our art...word up to all you cats livin life on your last dollar, all you crack babies, working mothers, high school drop outs, forgotten soldiers, drug dealers, church leaders, college students, alcoholics, kava drinkers, working stiffs, doubters, romantics, political prisoners, ballers, dj's with broken turntables, mc's with broken mics, grafitti artist with no paints, and b-boys with holes in your shoes...and anyone else we forgot...1 love. beats #1-5 are for sale! holla back if you are interested...
Band/artist history
yo- we started out jus like hip hop: two tables, a mixer, and a mic...we used to rhyme over beats mixed by sefski, while hazmat would scratch, this is back in hazmats basement out in k-town..it would be freezing down there so we called our mixtapes the "meat locker tapes"...we started up grading and beatmaking with some second hand samplers and what not...but the addition of halogen brought new flavor, and although he is not with us most of the time (hes still in HS down in cali) we used to get his vocals when he would visit, and we are looking forward to helping him out with his solo project...SRM always brings the heat with his clever lyrics...ill feel is a throw back to the golden era of mc'ing...and we all have a message in each verse...sefski (aka the human metronome) is working on beat production as is hazmat, and we hope to be putting out some more joints soon...1
Have you performed in front of an audience?

Your musical influences
we all have a deep appreciation for music and our influences are very diverse...bob marley, old funk, curtis mayfield, marvin gaye..we vibe to a lot of old school music, old school hip hop, krs-1, grandmaster flash, run dmc, slick rick, public enemy, gangstarr, pete rock and cl smooth, biz markie, marley marl,ATCQ (tribe), de la soul... and of course we still bump the new stuff, definately WU TANG (definately, peace to the wu and ODB), mr lif, jay z, mos def, talib kweli, che fu, mareko...then theres the FOB stuff, brothers brown, fiji, five star, jamoa jam, mt vaea band, black rose...i think ill feel has a "jem" tape from back in the day, SRM bumps "saturdays wariior" sound track, and halogen has some underground nsync ha ha...1
What equipment do you use?
we use a modified "kava clapper"...and we double up on the cups for full effect!
