Well yea, felt like puttin a band together, so walah here we are;
Hugh - Drums
Russell - Bass Guitar
Andy - Rhythm Guitar
Sam - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Basically, we encompass pretty much all forms of metal into our music, with strong leanings towards Thrash metal and Death metal.Band/artist history
Hugh "The Huge" started playing drums around the time he was 9. Ironically he has the most experience with his chosen instrument in the band, which puts to rest for us, using drummer jokes against him.
Russell picked up a bass about a year and a half ago and fell in love with the funkiness of it all, though now he is determined to headbang his way into the history books with an endless tirad of stupidity.
Andy, is little known to me, but he was recommended by Russell, all I know is that he plays guitar...hmmm yes quite an enigma, he also wants to be known for his originality and randomness.
Sam, (thats me) well after hearing the Four Horsemen by Metallica, I was determined to emulate that guitar playing, and the solo's just mesmerized me, that started my love of heavy metal. Picked up a guitar last March and havent been able to put it down since. Never thought I could sing, but hey stranger things have happened.
And thats us, if you don't us, you can just go fuck yourself you dirty bastard.Have you performed in front of an audience?We will be playing live soon,a moment to wait for would definatly be the debut, of the sock puppet guitarist.
Your musical influences
For Russell and Myself, the holy trinity of metal bands, Slayer, Metallica and Iron Maiden, I personally listen to all aspects of metal (cept for nu and rap) so thats my influences. Hughs into the band called Tourniquet but likes pretty much anything except rap. Andy likes his heavy metal, though strangely he also likes punk...but still he likes heavy metal, which cancels out the fact that he likes punk.What equipment do you use?
I use a 21 fret Fender Squirestrat, with two single and one double pickups, a DOD Guitars FX pedal station and a Fender amp.
Hugh uses a Pearl Five Piece drum kit with Zyldgian cymbals (wants to buy a Mapex SW5225 Saturn Pro Series 5-Piece Fusion Drum Kit when he has the money)
Russell uses a 5 str Aria IGB 50/5 with 2 passive pickups and 24 frets aswell as a laney hardcore max amp.
Andy just got a new guitar Samick - Artist Series, 22 frets, 4 pick-ups not sure any further.Anything else?

ok guys just let me know when you are keen, i have laybyed a new ibanes 6 string, and bought a j&d luthiers 7 string since last time we chatted.
i havnt uploaded any new stuff yet but ive been writing a lot of stuff and i now have a producer so the next album will rock
im playing a lot more sensibly at the moment than what i did on my "imrovise album" and i think i could definately create some solo's and stuff to go with the palam mortis sound (ive been listening to lots of maiden lately)

There may be a slight delay on everything bandlike... bleh... we're all in that intermission between the end of High school and the start of life... be sure that we will be doing much more in future just not until we're all setlled and have beds.. and food.. i dont really need a bed but a van wouldnt be bad... Nevay id put all this in the news but its not that exciting.. Like Jack(unofficial male groupy?) and me(hugh) are thinking of starting a ska band called Tarzan Oatmeal 600... if there are any good trumpeters in brisbane email me wasafogle@hotmail.com also good SKA guitarists.. anyway that wont alter Palam mortis's build up i still have to figure out how i fit uni into this... but im predicting late march we will start working on songs and covers... hey snrubber the weekends are always good for me and so are most afternoons but we should decide where to jam. i have just moved and dont have furniture yet but im sure we will figure it out.
