Band/artist history
I was born 'n raised in the Woodhaven (a.k.a. CROOKhaven) section of Queens NYC, but I moved to Venice Flori-duh in December 2001 (f*ckin rednex! i pissed on the confederate flag!). No disrespect to places like Atlanta, Houston, Miami, or Orlando but the Dirty South aint dirty, this s*** is squeeky clean! anyways, enuff bout where im from and where im at... I got into producing back in '98 when I got this demo version of a program called E-Jay (which is perfect for VERY beginers) that came with my printer, its a click-and-drag program, and I would play around with it for a while, then on December of 2002 I got focus and got a Mixman DM for Christmas (which is GARBAGE! DON'T WAISTE YOUR MONEY!) and I came on wit some iight shit, but I said "damn, i aint gonna get no where by Mixin samples," I wanted to be original, so I got Fruity Loops, which was a huge improment. it wasnt the best program in the world, but it met my needs, and then BestPaul of SwivelPoint blessed me with Reason 2.5 (the best damn program ever!!!!!!!!) and thats how i make all my beats now.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
nope
Your musical influences
too many to list.
What equipment do you use?
Software: Reason 2.5, FL Studio 4 Producer & Creative Edition, Fruity Loops Full 3.56, ACID Pro 4, Cool Edit Pro 2, Cakewalk Sonar 3 Producer edition, Mixman Studio, Windows Sound Recorder, and dBpowerAMP Audio converter. Hardware: Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum soundcard, RadioShack MD-982 MIDI Keyboard, Mixman DM, RadioShack 33-3001 unidirectional dynamic microphone (which is kinda usless since my soundcard makes it sound s***ty), a basic karioke microphone, a basic computer mic, a pair of Sony MDR-V150 Headphones, and a pair of Coby CV-130 Headphones.
Anything else?
"This is dedicated to the people who never beleved They could never see my dreams 'cause they jealous of me But here I am now and I'm destined for fame I wont forget where I came from, remember my Name" - Stryke, "Here I Am" http://www.starrecordings.com
