Steve Lawson: Songwriter, Vocalist and Rhythm Guitars is the son of 2 big band sax players. His father, whos stage name was Paul Page, was a popular Canadian band leader who performed with the greats like Ella Fitzgerald. Patrick 'Guitar' Grendon: has been playing music since elementary school, first on trumpet then bass in the school jazz band and finally graduating from Berklee School of music on guitar! Jam Rag magazine lists him as one of the top guitarist in Detroit! Mike Parafin : a childhood friend of Pat Grendons, Mike has an education in music as well. Attending the same parochial school, Notre Dame, as Pat they played in the school bands and hung out on the corners at night. Jay Crosby: the newest and best drummer Red Mercury has enjoyed is a veteran of the blues scene in the Detroit area. Formerly drumming for a hard touring act named Blue Rose, Jay has the chops, experience and skills needed to be called one of the best blues drummers in Detroit.
