This great rock song has been and is still used many a time to finish our 2-hour shows, it's powerful, rocky and has a good story. Seven Days has also been played on a few UK radio stations.

The Rising is a four-piece band based in Lancashire, who are turning heads and gaining fans at every venue they play. Fusing the passion and determination of four accomplished musicians, they offer upbeat quality original rock music right accross the board that never fails to impress and delight music lovers everywhere.
In the one year they have been together, the band have done and achieved so much. They have released their first EP - 'The Rising' which is now available at HMV. Their schedule for 2004 is almost booked up already. With their 2nd EP - 'The Rising II' due for release in August 2004, the band have proved that they are very serious about their success and not just a 'flit in the wind'.
The band's catalogue of material is extensive, 3 albums worth to be precise, and more on the way.
The Rising are :-
Jim Ellel (Lead guitarist and backing vocals) and Donny Przybysz (Lead vocals and rhythm guitar) have been writing and performing together since 1998 and have built up an impressive catalogue of songs. As a result of their desire to better themselves and break through into the main stream, Jim and Donny decided to stop gigging with their previous band (The Wiremonkeys) in order to write a new album of songs that would help them reach this goal. With the songs completed it was then time to find the outfit that could deliver the songs to their maximum potential.
The Drummer. Tony Hogg (Drummer and backing vocals), a very well respected and talented drummer, answered an advertisement and after a few meetings it was clear to see that Tony was the man for the job. Tony’s drumming style, which is packed with energy and flair, adds another dimension to the music that often has audiences left thinking, how does he do that? Tony does not merely put down a beat to play to; he has a unique style that portrays feeling and passion that all adds to the sound that is ‘The Rising’.
The Bassist. Sean Pastorius (Bass) is an immensely talented bass player that has the crowd applauding wherever he plays. He never fails to surprise Jim and Donny as to just how fast his fingers can go. Tony, who had played with Sean in a previous band, commended him as being a world-class Bassist. This backbone partnership was reunited when Sean heard the songs and moved back to Lancashire to join the band. The band was complete and the ‘Rising’ began.

We enjoy playing live, it's such a magical feeling.
We supported 80's greats The Alarm at King Georges Hall in Blackburn and also played the world famous Cavern Club (made famous by the Beatles) in Liverpool, were very special moments for the band.

A lot of influences ranging from the Beatles, The Who, Rolling Stones, Rush, to name but a few.
