I was very surprised to find that this was a secondary school band. Fantastic sound. Great musicianship all around. Very much in pitch. Impressively done. Polished. I remember performing this with the District Of Columbia Youth Symphony Orchestra. I believe it was part of our repetoire when we participated in the 1st International Festival of Youth Orchestras (1970).
Thank you for your musical offering. I've downloaded Candid and voted it 'hot' I'll be back later for more.

Absolutel excellent. It took me back to my high school days when I played percussion in my high school's band in Montana. Although we were not anywhere near as accomplished as these fine musicians. Thank you all so much.
I only wish I could have downloaded your selections for listening elsewhere.
Keep up the good work! You have many more awards in your future I am sure.
I am sorry but i have to rain on the parade because this sounds identical to the recording done by the Boston Pops under the direction of John Williams in the late 80's. I am not buying that this is your recording. Don't believe me...find the recording for yourself and compare.
