Experimental

So i no longer sing for A Taste Of Atrocity, that band fell to ugly politics i wont get into here. I now work with my musical soulmate, Junior?, on our project Malicious Side Effect (which can be found on soundclick, as well as myspace, www.myspace.com/malicioussideeffect ). Every band ive played with over the past twelve years Junior? has been in. So we have a chemistry that comes from having written and grown with someone over the years. I also have always written on my own, before now i didnt have a multilayer recording to program to record my songs so bent wyre was exclusivley a noise and experimental project. But now i have a recording program so i am recording the material ive written over the past 16 years. So bent wyre has been transformed, fret not though as the noise will not stop. I will continue to create noise and experimental tracks and post them on this page (since this is my first home and i will always be loyal to soundclick), not sure if i will post any of the noise and experimental stuff on the myspace page. As well as the noise i will now be posting actual more mainstream friendly music as well, i have songs ranging from rock ballads, to acoustic songs, to punk, to hard rock, to metal. The range on this page will be pretty diverse, so there should be something for almost everyone on this page. hope you enjoy
Band/artist history
I acquired a little program called Sound Forge from a friend (T), and decided to start taking sounds and noises and well basically using sound forge for what it is used for i guess. I started of using solely label artists material but after a while i felt kind of cheep(its always still fun for a joke to screw with someone's song). SO i decided to use noises from the noise stuff i was doing at the time with the aformentiond bands, as well as vocal thingys or just whatever came to me and made more origional recordings. The other side of Bent Wire are just songs i've written with a guitar since i started playing ten years ago.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Live probably not, most of this stuff is taken from recorded sounds from my own playing and there are some Skeletonne and Freaky Druid sounds as well courtesy of Sound Forge. It would frankily be boring for anyone to have to sit and watch me make this. But it's fun to make and even more fun to listen to (especially with some help, if you know what i mean) so that's why i do it.
Your musical influences
My influences, Machine Head, Soulfly, Pantera, Everlast, Emperor, Weezer, Mary Jane, JD, Ozzy and Sabbath, Slipknot, and NO Use For A Name
What equipment do you use?
Sound Forge, Line 6 studio GX, Ableton Live Lite 7 on my laptop. i play a Schecter Demon V-1 Custon. I use pod farm 2 for all my guitar and vocal effects now.
Anything else?
I advise listening to this music with enhancments cuz it just sucks you into it and submerses you more, but beware some poeple can barely handle this stuff without anything. but as for the more mainstream stuff, keep in mind the drums are kind of cheesey cuz i had to use midi, they dont let you bang on real drums in an apartment. thx
