Dymensional Music has evolved over a three-year period. And it's still evolving. We experimented a lot, took the elements that we felt worked, and kept combining them in new and different ways. We knew early on that we had a sound and vibe and perspective quite unlike anyone else.
Dymensional Music draws on styles such as hip-hop, new age, free-form jazz and classical harmony, weaving fluid psychedelic accent with multi-layered dreamscapes. The music creates overlapping mosaics of crystalline sound-color, ever finding more highly integrated sequences and musical patterns, ever pushing the potentials to harmonic realms yet uncharted.
We embrace the notion that ascension is the goal of human evolution. Towards furthering this vision, we believe that Dymensional Music comes from the higher dimensions to assist humans with ascension by raising their vibration and altering DNA. You could also describe it as an idiom supporting the provocative vision now gaining critical mass in the spiritually-oriented world community.Have you performed in front of an audience?Sedona Arizona is our home... What we are amazed by is the layering, not only of the instruments and beats but also of the quality of the washes of sound. For example, much of the music has a rough-hewn veneer, yet when you hear past that to what's going on at higher musical levels, you see a sophistication emerge that, well for us anyway, makes your jaw drop. On cut number 5 of Enter the Dymensional Vortex for example, each of the instruments are undulating, creating waves if you will. When you listen to how these waves interact with each other and with the underlying tune, you begin to hear music in a new way. That's a hint at why this music is called Dymensional Music.
Have you even seen fractal art? You know the kind of art where you have to look at the picture with your eyes slightly out of focus, and suddenly out the mish-mash of dots you see a three-dimensional picture. This music is like that. Except that you are not as limited in sound as you are with visual representation. So there are deeper and deeper layers.
Then there are the subliminals in the music, both in spoken form and right up front in the lyrics. The trance-like quality of the Decrees makes this easy to miss. But when pointed out to you, you strike your forehead and say to yourself, oh yeah, how could I have missed that. We'd tell you a couple but it would take the fun out of discovering them for yourself. Here too, you must watch for layers. Some of the subliminals are up front, some are way in the background, and there is everything in-between as well.
Dymensional Music is so different 1) it doesn't fit neatly into the existing categories and 2) it's new and a lot of people haven't developed the listening skills to recognize what's going on, that is to say they aren't quite sure how to process it. It's very deep, and, as mentioned earlier, the music at the surface can belie the higher sophistication.Contact
