I Come Throo I Come Throo

This is the first single from our new album, "Lost and Found." It reminds us about the hip hop scene we've seemed to forget. Basically on this track we decided to bring it back. Twisted with a new school persona.

Band/artist history
The hip hop community is in a state of emergency. Heads have been eagerly awaiting a new distinct sound. Every so often, theirs that entity who comes along, dropping that much anticipated classic L.P. Straight out of Daly City, Ca., Lost Souls is back to reclaim the game. The new album entitled, Lost and Found contains 21 banging tracks, produced by up and coming producer extraordinaire Big D. Beats (16s Wit Me). Lost Souls has most recently been touring thru out the college circuits, promoting their new single, I Come Throo, which has been gaining major airplay on college radio stations all over the bay area. The group members, J-Cheesy aka J-Child and Jack Trippah aka Tripple J. have been actively pursuing music for over a decade. The Souls, joined forces in 1994 attending high school, beating on the lunchroom tables, kicking freestyles. The Souls stayed perfecting the craft of hip hop. Raised in the golden era of 1994s hip hop rush. The Souls managed to hang with such legendary acts such as, the late Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang, Naughty By Nature, Souls of Mischief and many more. Group member Tripple J said, We used to freestyle with a lot of main stream artist at this Hip Hop shop called, Cues Records, which used to be located at Top of the Hill, Daly City. Formerly known as N.P.L (National Playaz League), the boys gained light weight fame as high school superstars. Winning first place at virtually every talent show they performed in. The group decided to hit the studio after graduating in 1998. Linking up with the legendary, Paul Sirate (K.N.T., Submarine Funk), the group began recording their first L.P. entitled, Lost Souls, The Self-Titled LP. produced by Mr. Sirate. Lost Souls pursued there careers independently with the help of their mentor, the late Maurice Almost High Maxwell. The duo learned first hand the basics on how to survive in this cutthroat industry. Promoting and marketing themselves as a premier hip hop act. The Souls suffered a tremendous blow with the untimely death of there mentor. Determined to succeed, Lost Souls released there project independently under, Korner Store Records/Off Tha Hinges Entertainment. The album flew off store shelves. In just 3 years, Lost Souls has sold over 10,000 units worldwide, without a distribution deal. Making guest appearances on various compilations, (Western Edition Vol. 1, The World is a Ghetto) the streets started buzzing with anticipation of their new sound. Lost Souls stayed heavy on the grind, performing at every venue the city had to offer. Lost Souls has toured with the likes of E-40, San Quinn, Andre Nickatina, Too Short, B-Legit, Lyrics Born, The Grouch, Rappin 4 Tay, The 808 Band, Hieroglyphics Crew and many more. Due to their success, in 2003, Lost Souls inked a deal with Body Blow Recordz. The group recorded the single, Get Em Down before eventually separating ties with the label. Through strenuous business decisions, the group decided the best way to expand their business would be independently. Now under there own imprint, Soul-A-System Entertainment, Lost Souls has a full scale release plan for the future. The new project, Lost Souls, Lost and Found, is sure to become one of the hottest albums of the year, STAY TUNED. BIOGRAPHY OF LOST SOULS COURTESY OF SOUL-A-SYSTEM ENTERTAINMENT 2004
