Man that was fun!! Excellent work bro!!.... Your version was definitely good, but not great... I only say that, because even though your version seems more open (airy),, that allowed your lows to "bunch up" and semi dominate the mid sound area. Sure it was "in your face",, but there was just something about it that translated too FAT. Trust me, FAT is good, but you have to compliment it with SASSY.<<--oh that's where that name comes from!! FAT= EQ and SASSY= compression
My version even though not as much in your face,, demonstrates a more controlled low end,, which actually allows you to crank it up without controlling the knobs on your friend's stereo because of the added vibration caused by the (open) boominess created by not tightening your EQ's on compression. Never forget to "unload" rumble.<---unless
