I've been doing music ever since I can remember:
guitar as a little boy; singing lessons; trombone in school band; drums in highschool; singing for a hardcore band in my darker years etc. Then suddenly after years of talking shit about electronic music...... i got a copy of fruityloops....................................
I fell in love with producing and started to toy with the idea of emceeing. i made some songs, nothing serious, most of which sounded corny as all hell so I diddnt put much thought to it but kept on doing it. After a while some of my friends started to say "hey.....you're getting good" so I went at it with gusto. Arround that time I was living in Chicago and I bought my first Multi-track digital recorder. I did some tracks with friends and had a really good time......Untill the job market crapped out.
I sold my gear,packed my shit and headed back to my native NC very much unhappy to be doing so. It was boring as fuck, just how I remembered it. but my Old friend whom I was staying with had turntables................LOVE PART 2!!!!!!!! i was behind them everyday for at least 3 hours practicing and practicing. A year later HERE I AM in michigan of all places bound for Chicago as soon as money permits. thats my story and I am sticking to it!!!!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't live anywhere special. NC MICH IL to name a few.
