Hit the Ground Hit the Ground

This is probably one of our most dynamic songs to date, with gentle, mellow guitar sounds and bass creaping around all over the place, next to a crunching riff that grabs you by the balls and won't let go.

Band/artist history
Meeting at school in 2001, Jake, Dave, and Sam got together through the idea that being in a band would make us look really cool, irrespective of the fact that Dave and Jake had only just started playing bass and guitar respectivly, and 20 mins from our first gig we were informed by our music teacher that bass and guitar had to be playing the same note for it to sound anything like music. So we did it, we played our first gig at a school disco, we played (terrible) covers of bands like Oasis and Foo Fighters with a former singer, we played a more few school gigs before realising that it wasn't working out with that singer. By this time we were all better musicians and spent a year or so just messing around with instrumental, frantic, funk/metal, however after an age of messing around with this fun instrumental funk, we decided it was time to move on, and began looking for a singer again, which proved harded that it sounded, eventually the band tried out a singer by the name of Ollie Philips, a vocalist with a good range, strong voice, and quickly gelled with the rest of us. After recording a home-made 3 track demo, we are looking to make a professional recording later this year.
