I am a computer musician. If you were expecting a world-class guitarist or concert pianst, you've come to the wrong place; in the world of instruments I'm about as untalented as they come.
I may not be able to pull off more than a power chord on my guitar or play more than the first few notes of "tubular bells", but that has regretably tainted the image of the computer musician as much as any of you, perhaps even more. Your musical influences
Everything under the sun. Whoever says they have no "influences" is lying; we're all emulating someone or something. The musicians who embrace this and move on to create something entirely their own are the most creative. So long as you don't change your own music to fit a "style", so long as you don't dampen your own musical voice to become something you aren't, the more influenced you are the more original the sound you create.What equipment do you use?
