Will Hale has grabbed the attention of kids and families for over fourteen years through his captivating music performances which offer an exciting friendly mix of festive drums, an extraordinary blend of guitar, dancing, singing and sizzling air guitar jamming. His first Tadpole Parade recording "I Love Everything" features an inspiring diversity of musical styles. Will continues with themes of cooperation & positive self image, blending seamlessly into the fun interactive music on his latest CD "Perfect World". Will Hale's unique mix of songs gently invite participants to confidently experience a dynamic range of emotions. Will Hale launched his full time music career December 1989 with
“A Concert For My Friends” also producing a video of the concert for cable TV.
1997 - 2003 Over 150 performances each year including festivals, daycares, elementary schools, ECFE, Headstart, parks, community events, Scouts, churches, YMCA, Camp Snoopy, Mall of America, and Public Libraries.
Will Hale’s primary instruments are vocals, guitar, drums, percussion, harmonica, air guitar and mandolin.
2002 Will Hale founded and hosts Family Groove a weekly kids internet radio show at www.kfai.org
2001 Released “Perfect World” Children’s music CD
Nominated Best Children’s Artist in 2000 Minnesota Music Awards.
1996 Released “I Love Everything” Children’s CD This recording features collaborations with many outstanding musicians including Dean Magraw, Marc Anderson, Brian Wicklund, Dan Newton, Lisa Fuglie and Billy Mclaughlin. Will Hale’s original song “Good For You” received recognition in the 7th Annual Billboard and the 13th Annual Mid-Atlantic national songwriting contests.
1992-94 Will Hale produced Full Circle a children’s twelve part series for cable TV
MN State Arts Board “Arts in Education” roster artist since 1999.
Depot Outreach roster artist 2000-2001 Performances, workshops and residencies at Northern Minnesota & Wisconsin schools. One week songwriting residencies.
Currently in training as a certified dance leader for the Dances of Universal Peace with particular intention to bring movement, cooperation and cultural diversity to compliment existing music themes.
Prior to 1989 Will worked at Hale’s Rocks and Gems in the jewelry field with a wide range of duties and organizational skills typical of most small businesses, including public speaking, demonstrations, and adult education classes. Will began cutting and polishing gemstones at age ten and started to make hand-crafted jewelry at age 16. Studied at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, CA and became a
Graduate Gemologist in 1979.
