Infomercial Gasmask features collaborations with electronica dub artist Doctor Echo, virtuoso string arranger Hiro Goto and the legendary sound engineer Geza X. All songs are written and performed by ALU. Also, ALUs jarring single Asphyxia is featured in the Babcock Jedeikin independent film Out of Body.

This release is an editor's pick on Smother.Net, It also ranks #4 in the top 10 albums of September, 2004.
If all we only had to do was go down to the local store and pick up a gasmask to ward off the evils of Infomercials and other corporate whoring tools. Lyrically its an adventure by its very nature; these are soulful wailings against the darkness but inviting the darkness a little bit closer than were comforted with. Blending dub with trip-hop, jazz, classical, and gorgeously illuminated by ALUs female vocals, this album is a fragile self-examination that will leave you feeling haunted by the poltergeists that surround such frantic moments.
