While sitting in a dark corner of New York City’s renowned breakthrough lounge, “The Cutting Room”, two mesmerizing vocalists awoke the crowd from their sleep and disproved the notion that true talent no longer exists. Dubbed the first "female Outkast" of our generation, Scarlet blue’s self-proclaimed lyrics and deep soul driven vibe open doors to a new sound they call, “Eclectic Hip Hop”, where artistic brilliance and profound lyrics take precedence over image. Scarlet Blue, as exotically beautiful as they are talented, don’t rely on looks for listeners. They harmonize with a style and vocal technique that defies the boundaries of hip-hop music and hopes to redefine its' standards.
The duo refreshes the soul with a medley of upbeat dance songs, jazzy mid-town tempos and soothing ballads driven by the genius beats of their producer, Kevin Rudlolf. Kevin; also vocalist and guitarist, is the music mastermind who has worked with hip hop moguls including Timbaland, Lil Kim, Mya, LL Cool J, Swiss Beats.
Born and raised in Harlem and Brooklyn on a diverse mix of music, their hard work ethic and clear vision of a dream has helped them persevere over the many obstacles they have faced. With a fully produced CD in hand and large following, Scarlet Blue has landed on a clear field of opportunity. With regular rotation on east coast radio stations, and a growing fan base, the only thing left to land is a record deal; which is not far off in the horizon.
