In 2003 I started writing demos for an album. I began work on one song, but I found I was no longer emotionally motivated to continue writing. Essentially, I was happier. The project remained important to me, however, and in 2005 I've resumed the album project for a 2006 release, .
I've always had something for music. Whether it was attaching rubber bands to shoeboxes for a makeshift guitar, or keyboard lessons at the age of 8... inspired to play and buy electric guitar in 1997 and having played for 8 years. Sparks of interest in starting a 3 or 4 piece hard rock band that never quite grew. A dream over a decade long of wanting to release an album... inspired to get back to the keyboard in late 2003, and start making that dream into a reality. And here I am, a one-man "band", the carbon flaw.

Band/artist history
Not much history, honestly. I started TCF sometime in the Fall of 2003.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Right now I do not have any plans of playing live. It would be boring for the audience to see one guy behind a keyboard the entire time. Theoretically, this could work in a smaller setting - perhaps a cafe. Maybe some day I will find people to interpret my work as a true band, but right now I don't have any intentions.
Your musical influences
Nine Inch Nails was the first band to really influence me to the point that I decided to purchase a keyboard, as that would be the mainstay of the music. Though going back several years, I have had many more influences, mostly derived from guitar oriented rock bands such as Alice In Chains, Type O Negative, Stone Temple Pilots (who inspired me to begin guitar), The Deadlights, The Cure. More recent, diverse influences would have to be Nostalgia (this great ambient music from Germany), Tori Amos, Tweaker/Chris Vrenna, Jesper Kyd, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, nearLY...
What equipment do you use?
- Keyboard: Roland Fantom-S workstation (primary sampling/editing)
- Guitar: 1997 Fender Stratocaster
- Computer: Apple Powerbook G4 15" widescreen
- Software: emagic Logic 6 Audio
Anything else?
I hope people get something from my music, or being here is pointless.
