Dry Rot is an original three piece heavy metal band from southwestern Michigan.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Dry rot has been in the works for the last 2to 3 years. We did not have a bass player until about one year ago when my brother Mole stepped up to learn to play. Since then we have been playing out as much as possible, where we can and when we can.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we are currently playing at Cheers Lounge in Roseland Indiana, and at Bobby Georges in Laporte, Indiana.
Your musical influences
My personal influences are Pantera,Slayer,Black Sabbath. Anything heavy.
What equipment do you use?
No electronics here. Just raw Marshall amplification and Hartke bass amps and Ludwig drums.
Anything else?
Our band is set apart from the rest in that our drummer is also the lead vocalist all while playing the drums one handed. His arm was paralyzed in a snowmobile accident.
