My New Beginning My New Beginning
Hmm, it is just something, not quite a dance floor shaker but a groovy little song that I think is really starting to reflect my musical talents with keys and structuring.
I can feel you now I can feel you now
This is a jumpy harder track. It is a rather simple arraingment with lots of fills and heavy percussion.
Well, I am a one man show who collaborates with some friends from time to time, but this stuff for now is just me. It is what it is, I am a newer artist, and also a single father so I don't get to indulge into my music as much as I want to. I only get the time when they are with mom. Anyway please listen and all input is greatly appriciated. I am striving to create the proper production than the perfect track, so if its to bassy on your speakers, please drop me a line, and anything you want to add. thanks for listening.Band/artist history
Well it started out in a late night romp in the back of a VW van, and 9 months later I was born. Around the age of 4 my stinky hippie mom gave me a u-ki-lay-lay (spelling? hippie parents!) 4 string guitar those migrated japs with the lays play. I soon broke it, and it wasnt until the tender age of 7 that a guitar was given to me, with the hope that someday I would sit around the hippie fire and sing hippie songs while my parents blew glass hookas to sell at the dead shows they would drag me around to see. Well a few lessons later, I gave up citing needing more influences than sister mary monroe at the hippie catholic school I was forced to attend while jewish nuns beet us daily. They couldnt understand why Jerry Garcia was not enough, and they were mistified by my dismissing the holy guitar playings of the nuns.
Around 10 I started playing drums and this time I stuck to my lessons! In Junior High, my skill really developed, Soon I was the coolest soloist in prep band, and marching band! Forget about it, I was a god to the parade watchers association.
It wasnt again until after touring the planet on my skateboard and discovering head banging that I realized I should have stuck with the guitar.
, but for this time for a good reason, this time I understood why all the dudes on TV picked up a guitar! TO GET CHICKS!!! I was on my way!
I strummed my guitar solidly for 10 years before pawning all my shit for a drug deal gone bad! Soon after this I was denoucned by some guy claiming to be a vampire and he went off about acid messing your head up, which I was confused about cause here is this guy in Boulder CO dressed as a vampire hissing at me. So thru him some girl told us about a RAVE, we went, and soon after I bought records in about 94, and thats when it all started.
Spinning Records,, then one day I got a computer, I think the year was 1999, it started off so inocently, you know something you only do on the weekends, but soon I was downloading every nasty teen lesbian,, I mean sample I could find and was tweaking and messing aroudn with them and it sprouted from there to outboard gear, a "sooper compooter" and stuff.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have never played a live show with what I write, I have mixed some of my tracks when I DJ into my sets to see the dance floor response.
