If Peace Had A Color If Peace Had A Color
Written by the members of Callian's Dream for The Imagine Peace Festival at The World Bank in Washington, DC in 2000.

Near Dark Jenny (Live in Baltimore)) Near Dark Jenny (Live in Baltimore))
This song is about the actress Jenny Wright.. This is a live version from Club Tatto in Baltimore

Lynette Brawer was a musician, teacher, band member, super mom, best friend.. one of the most talented and beautiful people inside and out I have ever met..
Lynette played with a number of musical groups, including The Happimmortals and Callian's Dream.. Lynette and I shared the dreams and hopes, the plans and the schemes.. she was a bandmate, a musical soulmate, a confidant, a best friend, a hero..
A bubbly personality that would not let discouragment enter her vocabulary.. Lynette and her son Joey left us in August, 2001.. Lynette, 39, and Joey 13, were caught in a fire and suffered massive smoke inhalation.. they were taken of life support a few days later.. they are no longer with us in this physical life..
But we do know her spirit looks in on us from time to time.. This website is dedicated to Lynette, singer/songwriter, keyboard, flute, guitar player (and to Joey too who played a mean sax for 13 years old)..
Maybe someday what music we have of Lynette's will be heard by the world.. and when we meet again on the other side she'll get a laugh that she got notoriety after her death like so many artists seem to have done..
But her music lives on for all the world to enjoy.. We salute you Lynette!! Party on!!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Lynette lived in Northern Virgina and played in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas mostly tho she had played in such places as New York City and Europe..

what a sad, but heart warming story.
its so right that you have continued to keep lynette,s music alive despite the tragic circumstances that has taken her from us....at least in body....i'm sure she is the angel on your shoulder...the sun in your summer....the smile in your soul and the love in your heart.
and of course the sound in your silence.
best wishes
jim
Great sound Lynette - I really enjoyed listening to "If Peace Had A Color". It's nice to hear something that's actually MUSICAL on here - instead of just the "usual" electronic non-vocal stuff. Your melody really stands out. Nice job!
Hi Davy, we happened upon Lynettes's music here, but truly feel that NOTHING is by "chance". God bless you for keeping her songs alive and for the heart-felt remembrance of a beautiful lady and her son. GOD always knows what is BEST. www.AndrewDean.com
