I have done music as The rat hole sheikh since 1997. I have played music in various forms since 1974.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played live before but not anymore. Best gigs were supporting Bo Diddley, Johnny Thunders and The Pirates at Dingwalls. The 100 club with The Milkshakes and The Pogues supporting. The Marquee with the Barracudas as support.Stockholm with the Nomads supporting.

Too many!50's rock and roll like Chuck berry, Bo Diddley and Link Wray. 20's blues like Charley Patton.Black R&B like John Lee Hooker. English 60's bands like The Kinks, Stones, Pretty Things and Yardbirds. English pub rock like Eddie and the hot rods, Dr.Feelgood (with wilko) and The Inmates. Punk rock like The Stooges,Johnny Thunders Heartbreakers and The Sex Pistols. Psychobilly like The Cramps. 60's garage bands. 60's folk music. 70's British humour like Derek and Clive, Monty Python.

Old selmer amps. 4-track cassette tape porta studio. Telecaster.

You must have a crude sense of humour to like my music (which is very raw and crude).
