The Brennan Bass Project: by Michael GreenleyBand/artist history
Band History: Me, myself, and I. I've been playing bass for 13 years now and have been writing solo pieces for about 5. Some of the bands that I played in when I was younger were: Everett: Emocore, That Something Someday: Indie Emo, Auburn Sky: Emo, and The Fairwell Reason: Indie Rock. I am currently playing with Abby Ahmad and recording my solo project, The Brennan Bass Project.Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't get to play out live as much now as I used to, but when I do it's still the greatest feeling in the world. Most of the shows that I played in the past were with my old bands up in north east PA. But, now I live in Baltimore were I'm working hard on my solo projects. I still get to play out a little with some friends when I visit PA, or when I visit my good friend Abby Ahmad in Pittsburg to sit in with some bass tracks for her new recording at AAM studios. I would have to say that one of the greatest moments I've ever experienced while playing was the last show that I my band Everett played at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Hardcore Music Fest a few years ago. Our guitarist was going away to boot camp and our singer was moving to Jersey. We decided to play the first song that we had ever wrote as the last song that we would ever play. It was a crowd favorite, but a really sad moment. Great...but sad.
