O.K., So the old black Chevy van made it one more time on a mini road trip tour up the California Coast again. It was warm in Santa Barbara. Drummer J.L being addicted to oatmeal cookies (among other things) demanded a break for a sugar high and deftly pulled the van up to an unknown downtown bakeryand hey, right next door he bumped into Tiger Woods on his way to the restroom. Yeah, Tiger now has a Honeycreeper's CD but he might be pissed that the band gave him one of the Demos instead of the real thing 'cause the Demos have a CD stick on label that's been know to come off mid play and jam up some of their friend's CD players. Sorry about that. What do you expect for free?
U.C.S.B. was a pretty fun show. Skaie's vocals can give you that feeling in your gut that's so bittersweet you can't help but feel alive and wonder where the song will take you next. She likes to connect with the audiencethat's what a show is all about for her, everybody doing a dance together and forgetting everything but NOW!.J.L.'s parents let him sleep too close to the wall clock when he was a baby and now he never skips a beat, even when he's asleep he's tapping his foot. That's why his last girlfriend left him. Frank's always been one of those strange guys who know weird details that nobody else would ever think of, like what kind of special concrete they used in the Hoover Dam and how may PSI it can withstand on a 96.3% humidity day in August. We think he plays bass to bring himself back to earth and we're glad he does. You may find Steve reading Anti-Shyster Magazine in between guitar riffs, or writing strange notes on napkins and paper plates that somehow turn into the next song. He might also be right at home playing in a Mariachi band and living on the beach in Mexico by a good surf spot.
Back to U.C.S.B.. Hey, the audience loved the show! The band got some airplay on the local radio station and sold enough CD's after the show to cover gas for the whole trip!!! Some nights just make you wish you could be a musician foreverI know they're thinking "hey, we really get paid to do this?" Come check out a Honeycreeper's show. You'll be glad you did. Thanks.

Geez, four years since the last post. It's pretty clear that this band has dropped off the face of the earth. Is there anybody who has any information on them? Did they become something else or what? I had a few MP3s that I downloaded (legally offerred free samples, thank you very much), but I'm afraid I've lost all but one. I'd very much like to have the song "Cage" again. If anybody can tell me anything, please let me know!
are the Honeycreepers still in existence? I can't find any info on them. Please someone let me know if they're still together and how I can contact someone from the band. Thanks!
