Formed in April of 1998. Grand Facade consisted of: Scott Peters (Manilla Road, THP, Revulsion, Boggart, Mammoth) on drums. Mark Anderson (Manilla Road, Inner Voice, Pain Purveyor, Satyros) on bass. Ricky Vannatta (Chapel of the Eye, Inner Voice, Static Face) on vocals. Ernie Clark (Inner Voice, Javamen) on guitar. We soon recorded our first four song demo(7-98). We then began gigging locally with other bands. After a few months of shows we decided to record a full length cd. "Fields of Thought" is born(2000). After completing the recording process we lost Ernie due to personal reasons. So we began shopping for a replacement with no luck. Mark soon got the call to play bass for Manilla Road. Needing a drummer, Scott soon got the call as well. They played on "Atlantis Rising" and "Spiral Castle" before returning to Grand Facade full time. Then we began recording our next cd. Without a replacement yet, Mark picked up a majority of guitar duties. Self titled Grand Facade is born(2004). So we still needed a fourth member to play live. We figured it might be easier to find a bass player, so Mark stayed with guitar duties. Then we picked up: King Inthalangsy (Vinetianedeath) on bass. A great find indeed. And so we begin again...Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes locally for now. We love it! They all have been unique and memerable.
