Die Kapellenliebhaber

metalic percussion, with panflutes and a well known Australian instrument, plus a synth solo.
From digital sonic hardcore to contempory electronic scores, the diveristy never seems to stop. The harsher side refers to the digital sonic soundscapes(...much influence from Merzbow). The other side is much more ambient like such songs as Kool Aid Party which much influence early Throbbing Gristle recordings as well as Black Butterflys which has a nice warmth to it like Chroma Key.
Band/artist history
I have been recording under various names for eight years now. From the begining I have always wanted to do electronic of somesort. Experimenting with techno, industrial, and idm I grew tired here in the small secluded town of Ely, IA. But the plus side is I have not had many distraction plus nice place to collect sounds. I soon discovered the most erotic style of music I have ever heard and still hold true today....noise. I began mixing sonic manifestations with my beats and melody and it just melted together. But along side this erotic pleasure of sound, I also create very mellow and sometimes dramatic tracks that could easily be dropped into a film or documentary. These different styles have incorporated many different instruments including synthesizers, oil cans, african tribal instruments, panflutes, guitars, and even caged animals.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, and anywhere. I have not totally enjoyed it yet. The only real special moment was when I used bodypaint.
Your musical influences
I'm into noise and ambience mostly. There a few guitar players that I can actually say are good. As far as instruments go, I really enjoy exotic pieces from like Africa, Asia, and Australia.
What equipment do you use?
Cakewalk, Fruityloops, tape recorders, 7 string guitar, bass guitar, pan flute, african thumb piano, music boxes, hardware and software synthesizers, circuit bent instruments, pro tools, Csound.
Anything else?
It is better to be a pirate than to join the Navy.
